How to connect your Gmail / Google Workspace email account (gmail.com, googlemail.com) to InflowMail.

App Password Required

Gmail / Google Workspace requires an app-specific password instead of your regular account password. This is a security feature that lets you grant limited access to third-party apps.

These email domains use Gmail / Google Workspace's servers and will be automatically detected by InflowMail:

Notes

OAuth is recommended. IMAP works with an app password if 2-Step Verification is on. Enable IMAP in Gmail settings. Mail only — no Google Calendar or People via IMAP.

How to Connect Gmail / Google Workspace to InflowMail

  1. 1 Create an InflowMail account or sign in to your existing account.
  2. 2 Go to Settings > Connected Accounts and click Add Account.
  3. 3 Select Google / Gmail and sign in with Google (recommended - we never see your password).
  4. or If Google sign-in is blocked, turn on 2-Step Verification, generate an app password, enable IMAP in Gmail settings, and connect via IMAP. That path is mail only - no Google Calendar or People.
  5. 4 Your emails will start syncing immediately. The initial sync may take a few minutes for large mailboxes.
